A truly varied program, the South Downs Experience is a 5-day stay for year 6 pupils, based at Wetherdown Lodge on our site.

The topics, which are all related to the South Downs, include habitats, nature conservation, farming and the iron age. There are many opportunities to cover areas of the National Curriculum and this stimulating package includes three one-day trips to the Butser Ancient Farm, the Queen Elizabeth Country Park and a safari to a local farm.

One school group wrote of the experience: "Each day proved to be very different. The structure of the week certainly catered for the wide range of interests that primary age children have. I can't praise Janet and her team highly enough for their care and attention to detail. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and worthwhile week and have already booked again."

A colour pack, with photographs detailing the day visits, content, price and all the information you need, is available here.

Alternatively, phone 01730 823166 to request an A4 postal pack from Janet Hammerton, our Education Officer.
